When you volunteer with the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, you help us form an important bridge within the province. Our work makes arts education and appreciation available to members of the community who face socioeconomic barriers. We believe that people should have access to the arts, regardless of personal, social or financial status. When you volunteer with us, you help us achieve our mission: to open the doors of creative expression to all.

CSAC offers opportunities for arts enthusiasts to become engaged in the creative process on a professional level. Volunteers can choose to support the work of our ArtReach artists by assisting with workshops and learning new teaching skills in the process. Often volunteers helping out with the workshops are able to eventually lead our workshops themselves! Volunteers with our Exhibitions Committee have the chance to not only idetermine which artists are shown in our gallery, but also to learn how to properly install artwork, work with exhibiting artists and organize arts events!

2015 marks 10 years of the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, and there is an entire year of programming and special events to celebrate! Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn the rich history of the Charlotte Street School and create unique events that contribute to our cultural capital!
