WEDDING PACKAGE INCLUDES:
Auditorium - seating area 32' x 43' , stage area 32' x 21'
Community Room - 22' x 17' + counter top 21' x 2'
Green Room - 18' x 16' (currently houses Grand Piano that can move to backstage)
Chairs - 175 - Chair height: 29.5", seat height: 18", seat depth: 17", and back width: 18"
Tables - 21 rectangle (6' x 2'6") 13 round (short - 2' diameter, 3' tall)
Coat Room - holds 150- 175 coats (depending on size)
Foyer and "Crush Space" - when renting the Arts Centre for a wedding, you have the exclusive use of the 2nd floor. It includes all of our new rooms and the Auditorium, as well as the beautiful foyer with floor to ceiling windows.
Auditorium capacity: 200 standing, 175 seated in rows, 125 seated at tables
Includes use of: podium, 1 mic and amp, headphone-jack plug in, small projector/screen (no sound), there are 2 double sinks in the Community Room, standard fridge/freezer, easels (4 @ 5'tall, 3' wide)
*stage level access through elevator available, but must be requested
If projectors need sound, or you require stage lights, our technician must be hired at $18/hour
Liquor Licence - The Charlotte Street Arts Centre has a special facility license for events that wish to serve alcohol. When using the CSACS permanent liquor license the CSAC will provide the bar service for free, however bar income will go to the Centre. If the client wishes to keep bar proceeds or to hire a bar service they may acquire a Special Occasion Permit and have the CSAC suspend their license for the event, for which there would be a suspension fee. Clients have the option of choosing their own caterer (must be food and safety certified/insured).
Catering - you are welcome to invite qualified caterers to the centre (must comply with health and safety regulations), or we also recommend Milda's Pizza + more as they have a restaurant in the basement of the centre and it's delicious.
