Wharf Rats is an energetic collective of professional musicians from Halifax, Nova Scotia, formed in 2020 to share their love of The Grateful Dead’s music with each other and everyone else. Since then, inspiration has moved them brightly around the Maritimes, uniting Deadheads and converting the curious along the way. Featuring members of The Brood, Keith Hallett & The Hookers, Campbell & Johnson’s Black Market Band, The Chronos Band and many others, Wharf Rats’ motto is to keep on truckin’ and playing to the tide, and sharing in the spirit of the good ‘ol Grateful Dead.
