Adult Acting with Danielle Doiron

Check out the world of acting in this 6 session course running for 2 hours each week!  Classes will include vocal and physical warm-ups, acting exercises and scene study.  Using scripts from film and tv (given out ahead of time to allow for familiarizations), students will explore story, character creation and connection all while developing foundational acting skills.  Open to adults of all levels of experience from the absolute beginner to anyone who wants to brush up on their skills.  Come join in on the fun and see what it's all about!

Classes run 7-9 p.m. on Wednesdays. March 13 - April 24. (no class April 10)

About the Instructor:

Danielle Doiron is an actor and singer/songwriter based in Fredericton, NB with over 20 years of acting and improv experience.  Her performances range from theatre, improv, sketch comedy, independent film work, and self creations.  Highlights include the roles of Fanny Gabor and Fraulein Knuppeldick in Spring Awakening (PPTP, Neptune Theatre), weekly improv performances at the Theatre Ste. Catherine in Montreal, and performing two self-written solo shows at the Atlantic Fringe and Fundy Fringe.  Training includes 102 Actors Lab with David Lafontaine in Toronto; Neptune Theatre's Pre-Professional Training Program in Halifax; Straeon Acting studios, Theatre Ste. Catherine and The Montreal Improv Theatre all in Montreal.  She is passionate about telling stories and believes it's never too late to pursue your dreams.
