The Film Co-op has been supporting filmmaking in the province since 1979, and the festival draws its inspiration from New Brunswick’s extraordinary and diverse collection of films,” said Film Co-op Executive Director Tony Merzetti.

While local filmmakers are at the heart of Silver Wave, the festival dazzles audiences with a visual feast of both homegrown and international films. “The program launch is an electrifying gathering—filmmakers, film lovers, and newcomers alike come together to share in the excitement and connect with the creative community," says festival Head Programmer Tracey Lavigne.
