Our next Crit Night event, held in partnership with our friends at @connexion.arc will take place on Tuesday April 21 with guest artists Mike Erb and Ally Keane.

Mike Erb is a photographer and visual artist based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Erb holds a Foundation Visual Arts certificate from The New Brunswick College of Craft & Design with a focus on Photography and a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Thomas University with a major in Fine Arts and minor(s) in Journalism and Communications.

Erb has worked in various sectors of commercial, editorial and artistic photography. His current practice of cyanotype print-making and photography is reflective of his surroundings, exploring themes of place, identity, folklore, repetition and shape.

Ally Keane is a textile, visual artist based out of Fredericton & Grand Manan, NB. Ally's practice helps find posture in holding and unfolding the stories we make in relation to one another. Transcribing interviews into textile pieces, observing & creating objects themed in the art of gathering and directing personal archival projects for others, is where Ally finds her footing.
