Community Life Drawing

Join us for figure drawing practice! This non-instructed session is an opportunity to draw from a variety of models in a supportive environment. Whether you are drawing from a live model for the first time, or have experience, this is a great opportunity to hone your skills over the summer.

NOTE: In this course, we will use traditional drawing materials and work with nude models. Participation in this class is restricted to individuals aged 18+. This program features nude models. 

May 12 - June 16

Tuesday afternoon, 1-4 p.m.

Pre registration is required,

six week sessions: $125

student/seniors: $100 

Drop In: $25

Easels and tables will be provided but please bring your own drawing materials. 

Program Facilitator:

Matt Watkins is a multi-disciplinary artist and educator specializing in drawing, painting, and metal arts. His work focuses on contemporary portraiture, figure drawing and comparative anatomy, as well as New Brunswick landscapes and sequential art. Matt maintains his studio practice at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, in addition to his work as an art instructor at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design. He regularly offers workshops on figure drawing, portraiture, and is currently working on his first comic book collection of short horror-fiction.

Refund Policy: Any registrant who cancels their registration 10 or fewer days prior to the start date of the class/workshop will forfeit a $50 cancellation fee. The remainder of the registration cost will be refunded. No refunds will be issued once the program begins.
