Crit Night 3 w/ Grace Van Der Velden and Andrew Robinson

  • 732 Charlotte Street Fredericton, NB (map)

Our next Crit Night event, held in partnership with our friends at @connexion.arc will take place on Tuesday May 19 with guest artists Grace Van Der Veldon and Andrew Robinson.

Grace Van Der Veldon, a Fredericton and Toronto based textile artist, explores personal narratives of resilience and vulnerability through vibrant colours and soft textures. Her art sparks ongoing dialogue, delving into fibre, feelings, and the body’s role as a mediator between emotions and art, aiming to alchemize personal experiences into impactful creations.

Andrew Robinson is a New Brunswick-based graphic designer, illustrator, and linocut printmaker. He hosts CSAC’s Intro to Linocut Printmaking program and is a co-founder of the Fredericton-based printmaker’s collective, Linocult. Learn more at https://monografik.ca/

Join us on May 19 at 7:00 p.m. to meet these two artists and learn about their work. Crit Nights are free to attend but registration is encouraged. See link below.

What are Crit Nights, you may ask? A Crit Night (critique night) is a gathering where artists, designers, and creatives present their works-in-progress or finished projects to peers, professionals, or the public to receive constructive feedback, foster dialogue, and build community.
