Learn the fundamentals of oil painting with Fredericton artist Terry Price. In this two-day intensive workshop, participants will learn basic techniques and approaches to the medium while working as a group to create your first finished painting.

Required Materials:
Large and small brush sets. Introductory level (Dollarstore brushes are fine)
Student grade beginner oil paint set
Small palette and palette knife for mixing paint
Watercolour pencil (any dark brown)
Ruler
Participants have the option of sourcing their own materials or purchasing a material package for $50.
Instructor: Terry Price
Terry Price was born and raised in Fredericton, NB. He is the son of local, renowned artist, Daniel Price and mother, Theresa Scholten, former owner of the Capital Art Gallery. Terry’s art is a reflection of his passions, capturing New Brunswick nature, wildlife, outdoor pursuits and a wide array of portraits. Terry has previously worked with watercolour, acrylic and pastel mediums but today primarily focuses on oils.
