Fall Raffle in Support of Girls+ Rock Camp

We have long admired the artistic vision of Wolastoqey Indigenous multidisciplinary storyteller Samaqani Cocahq Natalie Sappier. Driven by a deep desire to create stories of healing, love, purpose, and protection of both spirit and Earth Mother, Samaqani draws upon her ancestral teachings for guidance. Her contemporary artistic expressions, particularly in her painted storytelling, are rooted in Traditional Wabanaki motifs, landscape, language, and her lived experience. Her work can be found in galleries, libraries, schools and arts buildings across the province.

To support the continued success of our Girls+ Rock Camp, Samaqani has graciously donated one of her latest paintings - River Rhythms. This painting was created on July 2, 2025, National Indigenous Peoples Day.

We are selling tickets on this 36” x 48” painting (acrylic on canvas) between now and December. The winning ticket will be drawn on Monday December 22.

Tickets are $20 each of three for $50 and can be purchased in-person at our office (732 Charlotte Street) or by etransfer to info@charlottestreetarts.ca. This raffle is open to New Brunswick residents only.
